Ma a Grand Kanyon legtöbbek által látogatott déli pereméhez, a nemzeti parkba mentünk. Még otthonról rendeltünk egy egész évre szóló nemzeti parkos kártyát, amivel ingyen látogathatjuk az ország összes nemzeti parkját (max 6 fő mehet be vele egyszerre). 80 dollárba került, de már eddig nagyjából megtérült ez a befektetés. Mostantól már ingyen megyünk a parkokba.

A mai napról nem is akarok sokat írni a Kanyon lenyűgöző, megnéztük gyalog, busszal és különböző napszakokban. A legmegdöbbentőbb, hogy ez a csoda 450 km-en keresztül húzódik végig az országon.

 Többen kértétek, hogy több fotót szeretnétek látni. A mai naphoz szavak helyett teszünk fotókat inkább. Amint lesz elég időnk, egy fotóalbumot is csinálunk a neten, csak előbb még annyi mindent meg kell néznünk.

 

Today we went to the most popular part of the Grand Canyon to the South Rim. This is a National Park, so we could use again our America is Beautiful Card. It was such a great discovery. I bought it on the internet for 80 dollars and it is valid to all the national parks in the country for 1 year and can take in max. 6 people at the same time. So far we would have spent the 80 bucks so from now on we are going for free!

We went to see the Canyon again, we took the free shuttle and we also hiked for a few hours. The most amazing that this goes on for 300 miles. You have a wonderful treasure here – if you have not seen it yet you really should come.

Many people asked for more pictures, so today instead of long descriptions here are some more photos. Once we settle down we will have a slide show on the internet, we just need longer time to sort out our photos and we have so much to see still.
